About Me

I am originally from upstate New York and now live in the Boulder, Colorado area. My bachelor's degree in Computer Science is from Colgate University. I spent five years in the Applied Math department at the University of Colorado at Boulder (CU) earning my Ph.D. and a year at NIST as a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow.

I now work in industry at the intersection of software engineering and modern AI, most often designing and building scalable systems for large volumes of data. I enjoy building products in startup environments, leading engineering and data science teams, and my own adventures in consulting.
