About Me

I am originally from upstate New York and now live in the Boulder, Colorado area. My bachelor's degree in computer science is from Colgate University. I also have a master's degree in sports management from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and briefly worked at a sports sponsorship agency before returning to graduate school. I spent five years in the Applied Math department at the University of Colorado at Boulder (CU) earning my Ph.D. and a year at NIST as a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow.

When not at work, I am interested in sports, very spicy food, biking around Boulder (although not nearly as proficiently or fashionably as most in this town), having my heart broken by the New York Mets, and generally making an attempt to take advantage of the beautiful area in which I live.
